James Hetfield of the heavy metal band Metallica said,
"Don't stop for nothing, its full speed or nothing" this
was the inspiration for our project. |
| Purchased in 1993, this boat saw 3 or 4 seasons
on the water before sitting uncovered for almost 4 years; she was
down but most definitely NOT OUT!
The decision was made, a complete restoration was afoot...
...And so it began...

This 468ci "weather beaten rat-motor" needs a
complete overhaul. Every piston, bolt and shaft removed, the block,
heads and crank shaft were completely gone through, and hot tanked. |
 |
All side molding has been removed and caped. Several
layers of fiberglass are used to ensure extra strength. |
 |
The entire hull has been gutted. New paint, gauges,
steering column, upholstery, throttle assembly and carpet will certainly
bring this bad boy back to life! |
 |
The Berkley Pump will also be turned up. A stage 1.5 /
AB impeller and a custom water pickup grate will move this machine through
the water at over 4000rpm. |

Sitting atop the tunnel ram you'll find not one, but two C & J
Engineering Holley 660's, mixing the lethal cocktail she needs to
live. Bellflower based, Motor Magic helped us restore the block,
heads and crank. She also comes equipped with a mild hydraulic Comp
Cam, after all, this is just a ski boat isn't it? "yea
right" ...She cleans up pretty nice don't she!

The indo-skeleton for our seats was in pretty bad shape, but
nothing some new treated wood and elbow grease couldn't remedy.
Marine grade upholstery, stainless steel staples and nylon stitching will
make for a comfortable ride up river. |
